Our antique inventory consists almost exclusively of reclaimed beams, floors, and siding from Pennsylvania barns, farm and dairy structures. These buildings were already scheduled for demolition, and the materials from which they were constructed were destined for overburdened landfills. Instead of allowing these materials to be squandered, we salvage them through a time consuming process of carefully dismantling rather than demolishing the structures. Most of these buildings were constructed of oak, American chestnut, and various types of pine.
